Massage for back and neck tension
Long drives on Oracle Road, hours at a desk, a round of golf or a day in the garden: back and neck tension builds quietly. Massage may help you feel looser and more relaxed.
Where tension hides
The muscles between the shoulder blades, along the neck and across the lower back tend to hold everyday stress. They tighten when we look down at a phone, grip a steering wheel or swing a club. A massage can warm and relax them, and you may find you turn your head more easily and stand taller afterward.
The treatments we suggest
- Signature Focused Massage, 30 minutes, entirely on the neck, shoulders and back.
- Signature Full Body Massage when tension has spread, 60 to 120 minutes.
- Japanese Head Spa for tension carried in the head and neck.
- Cupping as a short add-on to a massage.
- Chair Massage, a quick seated reset.
Helping it last
Drink water after your session, move gently and take breaks from sitting. If you have numbness, tingling or pain that does not go away, see your doctor. A massage is no substitute.
Frequent visits are not required, but many guests schedule a regular time that suits their routine: weekly, every other week or monthly.

Questions
Is a 30-minute massage enough for neck and back tension?
Often it is, if tension is in one area. For tension that has spread, 60 minutes or more gives more time.
What if my pain is severe?
See your doctor. Massage is for comfort and relaxation and is not a replacement for medical care.
