Comfort and mobility
Massage for comfort and mobility
Stiff joints, tight shoulders, a sore back after a long drive. Massage may help you feel more comfortable, more relaxed and more able to move. Here is how we think about it, and which treatments fit.
How massage may help
Muscles around a stiff or sore joint tend to tighten to protect it. A skilled, gentle massage may help those muscles relax, which many people find brings comfort, an easier mood and a little more freedom of movement. We use those words on purpose: massage may help comfort, relaxation and mobility. It does not treat, cure or diagnose any condition.
Our guests include golfers and hikers from Oro Valley, neighbors from SaddleBrooke and Catalina and visitors who simply spent too long in the car. Tell your therapist what is stiff, what hurts and what your doctor has said, and the session is shaped around it.
Arthritis
Living with arthritis can make stiff mornings and achy afternoons part of the routine. Gentle massage may help you feel more comfortable and relaxed.
