Privacy Policy

This page explains what Desert Zen Massage & Wellness collects when you book with us, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.

Who we are

What we collect

When you book online, by phone or at the front desk, we collect:

• your name (and the second guest's name for a couples booking);
• your mobile phone number;
• your email address, if you give it;
• your booking details: treatment, length, therapist, day and time;
• any notes you choose to add, such as an injury, the pressure you like or a special occasion.

We do not take payment online and do not collect card numbers on this website. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

• to make and keep your booking, and to find your record when you call us;
• to send your booking confirmation;
• to send a reminder before your visit;
• to send a thank-you after your visit, with a request for a review;
• to prepare for your treatment, using the notes you give us.

Text messages

When you book online you can tick the box “Text me my booking confirmation and reminders”. If you do, Desert Zen Massage & Wellness will text you about that booking:

• Message frequency: up to 3 texts per booking (a confirmation, a reminder and a thank-you with a review request).
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time; you will get one text confirming you are opted out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (520) 344-3005.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can book without ticking the box, and you can always book by phone.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Who we share it with

Mobile information is never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except the providers below that deliver our messages on our behalf.

We do not sell any of your information. We share it only when the law requires it.

Providers that send our messages

We use a few service providers who handle your information only to do this work for us, and not for their own marketing:

• Text messages: Twilio, which delivers our booking texts to your phone carrier.
• Email: Brevo, which delivers our booking emails.
• Booking system and website: our own booking system, on a private server rented for our business; it is not shared with other businesses.
• Fonts: this website loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which sees your device's internet address, as with any website that uses it.

How long we keep it, and deleting it

We keep your guest record and booking history so we can serve you on later visits and keep our business records.

To see, correct or delete your information, email bookings@desertzenmassage.com or call (520) 344-3005. Tell us your name and the phone number or email you booked with. We will confirm it is you, delete your information promptly, and tell you when it is done. We may keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as payment records.

Children

Online booking is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
