Visiting
Visiting from Phoenix and Northern Arizona
Many Arizonans head to Tucson for the weekend. Make the drive worthwhile with a massage on the way in or on the way home, without going all the way into the city.
Off Interstate 10, then up Oracle Road
From Phoenix, Interstate 10 south takes you toward Tucson. Take the Tangerine Road exit, drive east to Oracle Road (State Route 77) and turn north. Desert Zen is about 113 miles from downtown Phoenix, roughly two hours, and about 66 miles, about an hour and twenty minutes, from Casa Grande.
Coming from farther north, allow about four hours from Prescott and roughly four and a half hours from Flagstaff. A longer treatment is the right way to arrive after a drive like that.
Ideas for a trip
- Break the drive. Book a 60 or 90 minute massage, then continue to your Tucson hotel relaxed rather than stiff.
- Weekend away. A couples massage or a Japanese Head Spa in the afternoon, with Oro Valley dinner options close by.
- Visiting family in SaddleBrooke or Oro Valley? Treat them to a gift card before you leave.
